Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer (level 2) / Principal Systems Engineer (level 3) to join the MS&A team in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel Program. Responsibilities include modeling, simulation, and analysis across networking, security, and cybersecurity domains to ensure latency budgets meet requirements.
Required are a STEM degree, related experience, and active US citizenship with a Secret clearance; preferred are Top Secret clearance, database experience, and MBSE tooling
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with related experience.
- US Citizenship with Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Experience with mathematical modeling and simulation.
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or related tools.
- Experience with command-and-control system analysis or design.
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Modeling, Simulation & Analysis for system components (networking, security, cyber).
- Analyze end-to-end latency and validate timing requirements under various conditions.
- Characterize link performance and identify bottlenecks for architecture improvements.
- Manage hardware/software computing budgets for performance and scalability.
- Support database management and development activities.
- Support MBSE strategy and governance with subcontracted teams.
- Prepare content for presentations and stakeholder briefings.
