Northrop Grumman Corp. in Roy, UT is seeking a Systems Engineer (level 2)/Principal Systems Engineer (level 3) to join the MS&A team on the Sentinel Program.

The role focuses on modeling, simulation, analysis, and network-centric assessments to support ICBM ground systems and related infrastructure. The candidate will perform latency budgeting, end-to-end timing validation, and system-wide networking analysis, while coordinating with subcontractors and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with required years of experience; US citizen with secret clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with mathematical modeling and simulation.
• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or related scientific programming tools.
• Experience with command-and-control system analysis or design.
• Experience with network architecture and equipment configuration.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, Simulation & Analysis for specific aspects of the system such as networking, physical security, and cybersecurity.
• Perform command-and-control system analysis with a focus on end-to-end latency, including allocating latency budgets across components and networks, and validating timing requirements under nominal and stressed conditions.
• Perform networking analysis, including characterizing link performance, latency, throughput, jitter, and packet loss between system nodes, and using results to identify bottlenecks and improve architecture.
• Develop and manage hardware/software computing resource budgets to ensure system performance and scalability.
• Support database management and development activities.
• Support analysis for requirement decomposition and traceability.
• Support MBSE strategy and implementation.
• Coordinate with sub-contracted product teams for contractual SOW compliance and governance.
• Contribute content for presentations and present to stakeholders.
