Job summary
Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT is seeking a Principal Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis Systems Engineer to join the MS&A team on the Sentinel program. This on-site role requires US citizenship and a Secret clearance to work on DoD programs.
You will perform modeling, simulation, network and latency analyses, manage compute budgets, support MBSE and requirements traceability, coordinate with subcontractors, and present technical content to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with related experience as specified.
- US Citizen with active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain SAP approval.
- Proven experience with mathematical modeling and simulation.
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or related tools.
- End-to-end system latency analysis across hardware, software, and networks.
- Experience with database management / development (SQL, Access).
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Modeling, Simulation & Analysis for networking, security and cybersecurity aspects.
- Perform end-to-end latency analysis across components and networks.
- Characterize link performance, latency, throughput, jitter and packet loss.
- Develop and manage hardware/software computing budgets.
- Support database management and development activities.
- Support requirement decomposition and traceability.
- Support MBSE strategy and implementation.
- Coordinate with subcontracted teams for governance.
- Present content for internal and external stakeholders.
