Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (T-02) or Principal Systems Engineer (T-03) to join the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah. The role emphasizes modeling, simulation, and analysis across networking, cybersecurity, and performance domains.

Candidates must hold US citizenship and a Secret clearance or be able to obtain SAP approval. The position includes relocation assistance and a competitive benefits package, with a standard 9/80 schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

US Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance at time of application.
SAP approval (Special Access Program) within a reasonable period.
Demonstrated experience with mathematical modeling and simulation.
Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or related tools.
Experience with network architecture and equipment configuration.
Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.

Responsibilities

Modeling, Simulation & Analysis for system aspects such as networking, physical security, and cybersecurity.
End-to-end system latency analysis across hardware, software, and network components.
Manage hardware/software computing resource budgets for performance and scalability.
Network analysis to characterize link performance, latency, throughput, jitter, and packet loss.
Support database management and development activities.
Support analysis for requirement decomposition and traceability.
Coordinate MBSE strategy and governance with sub-contracted teams.
Prepare content for presentations and present to stakeholders.
