Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Systems Engineer for the Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) team on the Sentinel program. Location is Roy, Utah, supporting a challenging defense system with 9/80 schedule and relocation assistance potential.

The role requires a STEM degree and a Secret clearance, plus experience in MS&A, RF analysis, and MBSE. Strong collaboration with sub-teams and stakeholders is essential for deriving and validating

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with active Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain SAP access per program needs.
• 3 years of Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis experience.
• 1 year experience with radio frequency analysis.
• Experience utilizing MS&A tools to inform design solutions.
• Knowledge of requirements management and verification/validation processes.
• Demonstrated experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or related tools.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, Simulation & Analysis for RF, launch, timing, and cryptography aspects of the system.
• Support requirement decomposition and traceability.
• Support MBSE strategy and implementation.
• Coordinate with subcontractor teams for compliance with SOW and model governance.
• Prepare content for presentations and present to stakeholders.
• Perform analysis to derive lower-level requirements.
• Create analysis documents, V&V plans and V&V reports.
