Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, Utah, is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer - Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis to lead a diverse team on Sentinel ICBM accuracy projects, in a secure lab environment.

You will develop physics-based models, validate Sentinel accuracy, and present results to leadership and USG customers. The role requires a US Citizenship and a Secret clearance and includes relocation support and a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with active Secret Clearance.
• Ability to obtain SAP approval.
• 12+ years in STEM with Bachelor's, 10 with Masters, 8 with PhD.
• Ability to work on-site in Roy, UT (secure lab).
• Experience with physics-based modeling and simulation.
• Proficient in Python, C++, SQL, MATLAB, R or similar.
• Experience with Agile (JIRA/Confluence) and SEIT processes.
• Strong communication and leadership across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of engineers on Sentinel accuracy projects.
• Develop physics-based modeling and simulation of ICBM accuracy.
• Mature and validate Sentinel accuracy error models.
• Present results to leadership and USG customers.
• Prepare Sentinel accuracy reports and coordinate V&V activities.
