Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer for THAAD Interceptor modeling and simulations in Sunnyvale, CA. You will develop and integrate models to predict performance, advise on design trades, and support production with analytic insights.

The role requires experience with system models, C/C++/MATLAB/Fortran, Unix/Linux, and an active Secret clearance. Join a team delivering critical defense capabilities with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Experience developing or using system models or simulations.
Experience with C, C++, MATLAB, or Fortran.
Active or current Secret clearance.
Experience with space, aircraft, or missile system design, simulation, or test.
Experience with Gitlab or similar version control.

Responsibilities

Use models and simulations to predict performance and allocate requirements.
Develop models to predict THAAD Interceptor behavior.
Create performance predictions for development activities and validate with data.
Integrate subsystem models into a system model.
Guide hardware subsystem development and allocate requirements.
Brief management and customers on predictions and trades.
Support operational analysis and ongoing production.
