Hadrian is seeking a senior engineer to own the design and delivery of autonomous manufacturing equipment bridging mechanical systems, controls, and software architecture. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from concept through production acceptance, balancing performance and cost in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes ownership of timelines and budgets, with close collaboration across mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to ship robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years designing and deploying automated industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX or similar).
• Experience with equipment development lifecycles and design reviews.
• Track record in risk assessment, specification creation, and build cycles.
• Strong collaboration across mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Define equipment and area design requirements from conception through production.
• Lead a cross-functional team through the full design process and design reviews.
• Develop framework for Hadrian's internally developed equipment.
• Collaborate with Factory Development and Production teams to ensure turnkey deployment.
• Own outcomes and drive decisions to meet timeline, cost, and performance.
