Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. We seek a Mechanical Design Engineer to drive mechanical design from concept to manufacturing for custom industrial machinery and automation equipment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial design, strong CAD with SolidWorks, and hands-on fabrication knowledge, collaborating across engineering and operations to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of mechanical design experience in industrial/manufacturing/automation environments.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Understanding of machining, welding, fabrication, assembly processes, and GD&T.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with cross-functional teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Design mechanical systems, machine assemblies, fixtures, tooling, and EOAT using 3D CAD software.
• Create manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and docs with GD&T and DFM principles.
• Support fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, prototype builds, and testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, controls, PM, suppliers, and techs to improve equipment and processes.
• Support design reviews, troubleshooting, startup, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
