Job summary

CymSTAR, LLC is seeking an experienced engineer in Tulsa to lead the design and integration of complex systems. You will drive MBSE/OOSEM methods, evaluate top-level architectures, and oversee testing from concept to delivery, including interfaces between hardware and software.

The role requires a BS in engineering or equivalent, 4+ years in simulation, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Occasional travel and signing bonus up to $10,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 3+ years related, practical experience in simulation.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Familiarity with MBSE and OOSEM methods.
• Experience with hardware/software interface design and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team and coordinate efforts across staff.
• Review requirements and standards to identify needs.
• Analyze system requirements and propose top-level designs.
• Define interface specifications and perform trade studies.
• Develop detailed designs and allocate requirements to components.
• Write code (C, Fortran) or develop hardware per designs; use Linux.
• Execute subsystem, integration, and acceptance tests.
• Troubleshoot issues and support training device delivery.
• Prepare time/cost estimates and project documentation.
