Job summary

L3Harris Aeromet in Tulsa, OK is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to lead the full Systems Engineering Vee lifecycle, including requirements management, design verification planning and execution, and MBSE design maturation. Experience in aerospace, ISR, image processing, or EO/IR is a plus.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, and it includes opportunities to work with Cameo and model-based approaches while pursuing a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and minimum 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Develop system architecture, requirements, and specifications based on customer needs and constraints.
• Design, plan, and execute system or module level verification tests.
• Troubleshoot system and module level issues across hardware, software, and electronics domains.
• Use MBSE to define, analyze, and validate system models and simulations.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and project management teams for seamless integration of subsystems.
• Conduct system- and module-level tests to verify performance and propose solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure project success.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in systems engineering.
• Work to meet schedule constraints with project management skills.
