Job summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled MID Systems Engineer to join our advanced technology team in support of DoD programs. The candidate will oversee design, development, integration, testing, and lifecycle management of complex mission-critical systems within government environments.

The role requires deep expertise across C5ISRT, radar, and RF systems as applied to DoD/IC contexts, with a current Top Secret security clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

Recent engineering assignments supporting DoD RF or related systems.
Experience executing SE across the acquisition lifecycle with traceable requirements.
Clear ability to brief complex technical risks to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Assess DoD policy alignment and tailor SE practices to program needs.
Lead requirements elicitation, allocation, and verification traceability.
Review SE artifacts, TEMPs, SRDs, and system specs for quality.
Provide oversight of contractor Technical Risk, Issues and Opportunities.
Participate in System Requirements, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.
Conduct MBSE reviews of SysML models and digital twin work.
