Job summary

Long Wave Inc. is seeking a mid-career Systems Engineer to own MBSE, requirements management, and architecture development for DoD programs in Oklahoma City.

You will develop and maintain system architecture models, ensuring traceability to requirements and guiding design and integration across software, hardware, and specialty engineering teams. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, MBSE experience with Cameo, and US citizenship with eligibility for a DoD

Qualifications

• MBSE concepts and tools experience; Cameo preferred.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher preferred.
• US Citizenship and eligibility for a DoD clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Apply MBSE methodologies to develop and maintain system architecture models and support requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation.
• Develop, document, and manage requirements baselines with full traceability to DoD standards.
• Lead aspects of system design and integration to meet performance, reliability, maintainability, and safety standards.
• Develop verification strategies, write test plans, and lead execution to validate system performance against requirements.
• Generate and maintain detailed technical documentation, specifications, interface definitions, and test artifacts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and specialty engineering for successful integration.
• Ensure engineering processes and deliverables meet DoD acquisition policies, standards, and customer requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
