Job summary

CymSTAR, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Tulsa, OK. The role involves researching engineering requirements, developing top-level designs, and implementing detailed software designs into the product using C, Fortran, Ada, and Python on Linux systems.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a related field (or equivalent) and at least 4 years in the simulation industry with US citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility; expect travel around 25% and a signing bonus up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent; or 3 years related, practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of simulation industry experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer with responsibility to direct and coordinate work of other engineering and technical staff.
• Review contract requirements, system specs, and standards to identify needs.
• Analyze operational requirements and conceptualize candidate top-level software designs.
• Develop software designs and implement detailed designs into the product.
• Write code in C, Fortran, and/or other high-order languages; utilize Linux.
• Perform subsystem, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Coordinate with program management, software, hardware, and manufacturing.
