Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars. You’ll work across the full lifecycle from concept to deployment on-site in Massachusetts, collaborating across disciplines to ensure a seamless, high-performance system.

Responsibilities include requirements development, testing, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership to deliver mission-critical defense capabilities. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with systems software, hardware, requirements, integration and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements, interfaces, and concepts of operations for radar systems.
• Lead testing: create plans, procedures, integration and verification docs.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and system issues via data analysis.
• Drive performance improvements across cross-functional teams.
• Model and simulate system behavior to support verification.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate impact.
• Document integration plans and communicate results to leadership.
