Job summary

Qualifications
- 8+ years of engineering experience developing complex products or instrumentation systems.
- Experience leading technical investigations from problem identification to resolution and corrective actions.
- Strong experience with experimental methods to evaluate performance, reliability, and risk.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and integration of complex subsystems and system-level features for laboratory instrumentation.
- Develop, refine, and maintain system and subsystem requirements.
- Design and execute experiments, test plans, protocols, and studies to evaluate feasibility and characterize system performance.
- Analyze results to identify root causes, improve reliability, and retire risks.
- Support system architecture activities, interface definition, and risk management throughout product development.
- Document findings through reports, reviews, and engineering documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on projects.
- Support prototype development, integration, and troubleshooting through Alpha, Beta, and launch stages.
- Drive investigations to improve robustness, reliability, and long-term performance.
