Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support new product development and sustaining engineering at our Norwood, MA facility. You will prepare electromechanical designs, drawings, specifications, analyses, and cost estimates for new and existing product lines.

You will provide technical guidance to R&D, Manufacturing, and Production teams and may mentor junior engineers. Ideal candidates will manage large-scale assignments, present design concepts, and ensure designs meet

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10+ years designing and prototyping electromechanical devices.
• Experience with SolidWorks and product data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts for electromechanical product subsystems.
• Present concepts to stakeholders in Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Prepare specs, calculations, analyses, and simulations for major components.
• Lead or mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally.
