Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a hands‑on Senior Systems Engineer to lead development, integration, characterization, and ownership of advanced laboratory instrumentation. You will drive technical investigations, develop system requirements, and partner with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Assay, and Verification teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical investigations and driving corrective actions.
• Experience translating needs into engineering requirements and verification approaches.
• Strong systems engineering principles and product development process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and integration of complex subsystems and system‑level features for laboratory instrumentation.
• Develop, refine, and maintain system and subsystem requirements.
• Design and execute experiments, test plans, protocols, and studies to evaluate performance.
• Analyze results to identify root causes, improve reliability, and reduce risk.
• Document findings through reports, design reviews, and engineering documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within projects.
• Support prototype development, integration, and troubleshooting through Alpha, Beta, and product launch.
• Drive investigations to improve robustness and long‑term performance.
