Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a Systems Engineer III to join our Information Technology team in a role focused on maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure platform and application portfolio. You will help manage incidents, perform routine maintenance, and support 24x7 on-call coverage to ensure system reliability.

This position requires strong experience with Windows Server environments, COTS applications, and healthcare IT, with certifications to match.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science or IT.
5+ years with MS Windows Server/Desktop environments.
5+ years supporting general COTS applications.
3+ years in healthcare industry preferred.
3+ years with clinical applications preferred.
Network+ or similar certification required.
A+ or similar certification required.
ITILv3 Foundations preferred.
Multiple tech certifications covering server, storage or infra apps preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform service operational tasks including incidents, access, events, and problems.
Maintain routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure platform and applications.
Understand infrastructure lifecycle, architecture, data, and configuration.
Provide 24x7 on-call support and incident resolution with SLA focus.
Investigate interoperability issues and develop risk mitigation plans.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain all layers of infrastructure and apps.
