Job summary

State of Florida is seeking a Systems Programming Consultant (Systems Administrator) to lead the Network Infrastructure Team. The role focuses on deploying, maintaining, and securing servers and network devices, with involvement in cloud and on-premise environments.

On-call rotation and cross-team training are expected. The position requires 5+ years IT experience, familiarity with Windows/Linux servers, AD, DNS/DHCP, and networking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT experience required.
• Experience with cloud technologies and hybrid infrastructure environments preferred.
• Certifications (VMware, Azure, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploys, configures, maintains and secures servers and network devices.
• Performs maintenance and applies security patches and upgrades.
• Monitors health and availability of servers and network equipment.
• Documents configurations and creates knowledge base for the team.
• Assists in research and resolution of issues and supports IT projects.
