Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Integration and Test in Denver, CO. You will lead system-level integration and testing across hardware and software, developing comprehensive test plans and automated environments to ensure highest quality and performance.

The role requires a strong systems engineering background, hands-on problem solving, and collaboration in a fast-paced team. Relocation is provided; travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience creating and managing complex ICDs.
• Experience working within an agile development framework.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance (or SECRET clearance currently).

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate build and test in an agile development environment, planning, executing, and retrospectives.
• Develop and execute system-level integration and test plans for complex engineering systems.
• Define test requirements and success criteria; create detailed test procedures.
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures and automated test environments.
• Conduct integration and test activities on hardware and software components.
• Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot system-level issues.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure testable and verifiable requirements.
• Document test results, create test reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers in best practices for integration and testing.
• Drive continuous improvement in integration and test processes.
