Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Integration and Test in the ACE group. You will lead build and test activities in an agile environment, develop system‑level integration plans, and define rigorous test procedures for complex aerospace systems.

The role emphasizes hands‑on problem solving, collaboration, and driving test process improvements. Applicants should have 8–10 years in systems engineering, experience with ICDs, and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in a systems engineering role.
• Experience creating and managing complex Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Experience in an agile development framework; security clearance (SECRET or TS/SCI) desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate build and test in an agile development environment; plan, execute, and review tasks to completion.
• Develop and execute system-level integration and test plans for complex engineering systems.
• Define test requirements, success criteria, and detailed test procedures.
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures and automated test environments.
• Conduct integration and test activities on hardware and software components.
• Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot system-level issues.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure testable and verifiable requirements.
• Document test results and present findings to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers in best practices for integration and testing.
• Drive continuous improvement in integration and test processes.
