Job summary

Invictus International seeks a Systems Engineer III to lead requirements analysis, architecture development, and integration across the full SE lifecycle in a TS/SCI environment. You will drive cloud infrastructure, automation, and secure design while coordinating with government stakeholders and senior leadership.

The role requires strong scripting, DevOps, and vendor coordination skills, plus the ability to mentor staff and maintain technical quality on high-risk programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; additional 4 years may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum six (6) years of directly related experience in systems engineering.
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, testing).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Configuration as Code (Ansible); CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI).
• Containerization/orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
• Server deployment, domain management, and system integration.
• Scripting/automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Secrets management and secure system design.
• Development of technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams.
• Proven ability to work independently, lead technical efforts, and solve complex problems.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain CI polygraph.
• Must possess DoD 8570 IAT II and Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of user requirements, CONOPS and architectures to drive design and implementation.
• Provide technical leadership across full SE lifecycle including architecture, design, integration and testing.
• Develop and maintain system architecture, engineering documentation and plans (SEMPs, SOPs).
• Guide requirements development and trade studies to optimize performance.
• Direct and support system integration and vendor coordination.
• Develop and support modern infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments and server management.
• Design and implement automation and DevOps solutions (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD).
• Develop scripting solutions (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate operations.
• Ensure secure system design and compliance with access control and communications security.
• Communicate with government stakeholders and executives, providing status and guidance.
• Maintain technical integrity and quality of deliverables on high-risk programs.
• Supervise and mentor technical staff and establish best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate integration into enterprise environments.
