Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to perform integration, verification, and field testing of complex hardware/software systems for DoD programs. You will collect and analyze data, document results, and address faults with robust corrective actions.

Occasional travel up to 20% is required. The role demands a STEM Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience, with experience in RF/telemetry and cross-disciplinary collaboration highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM and minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Hardware Systems Integration experience.
• Platform Integration/Flight Test experience.
• Experience evaluating requirements.
• Experience with troubleshooting and failure process.
• Experience with Verification and Validation methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.
• Perform data collection activities, including review and analysis of data elements, and provide detailed reports of results.
• Trace and/or correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems; use failure reporting and analysis where applicable.
• Create/modify documentation in support of reviews including Test Plans, TRR, CTS, and TDR packages.
• Travel up to 20% to support tests and customer visits.
