Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Senior Product Line Systems Engineer to lead system-level software efforts in an AGILE environment. You will capture and translate requirements, model with SysML, and guide cross-disciplinary teams across hardware and software domains.

Mentor engineers, drive cost-value decisions, and support integration and verification across the lifecycle. Hybrid work is offered; travel up to 35% may be required.

Qualifications

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
Advanced degree plus additional years of experience is acceptable.
Experience in software integration and system-level testing.

Responsibilities

Lead systems engineering activities and capture/translate requirements for large, complex systems.
Mentor product development teams and drive architecture across hardware/software interfaces.
Develop SysML system models and support verification and validation activities.
Collaborate with dispersed teams in an AGILE environment to meet program goals.
