Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer in Cedar Rapids, IA for CH-53K programs serving USMC and international customers. The role supports all phases of system development, including requirements, architecture, verification and life-cycle support.

The position is onsite in Cedar Rapids with relocation available. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are required. Occasional travel may be up to <10% of time.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile development and systems/software engineering across all life-cycle phases.
• Degree in STEM with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering through all phases of system product development.
• Work on avionics solutions for USMC and international CH-53K platforms.
• Lead customer discussions with program chiefs and architect.
• Occasional domestic travel (<10%) may be required.
