Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, seeks a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support CH-53K programs for USMC and international customers. The position includes relocation assistance and may require limited domestic travel (<10%).

You will drive requirements capture, system architecture, verification and validation across avionics solutions, and collaborate with program chiefs and architects to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile development methodology.
  • Systems or Software Engineering experience through all phases of development.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support systems engineering through all phases of system product development including program pursuit and capture, requirements capture and analysis, system architecture design, requirements allocation and traceability, system verification, system validation and life-cycle product support.
  • Work for avionics solutions across the U.S. Marine Corps and the International CH-53K Platforms.
  • Navigate through the bids & pursuits, adhering to Collins Processes for the CH-53K programs.
  • Lead customer discussions alongside the program chiefs & architect.
  • Occasional domestic travel to customer site may be required (<10%).

The Rotary Wing Platform Systems Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join the development efforts for our CH-53K programs for our U.S. Marine Corps and International customers. This position is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A comprehensive relocation package is available.

What You Will Do:

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
