Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team, supporting development and integration of avionics, sensors, mission equipment, and radar systems for DoD programs. You will lead cross‑functional IPTs and own the engineering scope to deliver high‑quality results.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in systems, software, or hardware engineering, an active DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Minimum 8 years of related engineering experience in systems, software, or hardware engineering.
• Experience providing leadership, technical direction, and guidance to multi‑discipline teams.
• Experience leading the development, integration and test of military avionics systems or similarly complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide program support throughout the development life cycle, from concept to validation.
• Lead cross‑functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) communication and collaboration.
• Drive engineering tasks to meet technical requirements and schedule commitments.
