Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Systems Engineer II to join our Engineering team, supporting development and integration of software/firmware/hardware systems for airborne and ground platforms. You will participate in requirements management, system architecture, and testing within an IPT.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in systems, software, or hardware engineering, exposure to integration and verification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of related engineering experience in systems, software, or hardware engineering.
• Familiarity with requirements development, hardware and software integration, and requirements verification.
• Exposure to development, integration, and testing of systems for air, sea, and/or ground platforms.
• Experience with test execution, including assisting in test plan and procedure development.
• Ability to support Trade Studies and analyze technical data under guidance.
• Understanding of technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts with a willingness to apply them in problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate within multi-discipline teams and contribute technical insights.
• Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability, able to manage tasks and deliver quality work on schedule.
• Experience with MS Office Suite of tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must have a valid U.S. Passport.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements management, system architecture, test procedure development, and test execution.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) to ensure high-quality solutions.
• Apply modern development processes to enhance product quality and team productivity.
• Support DoD customers and international allies.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
