Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will support the Chief Engineer and Program Manager across lifecycle activities for advanced systems including avionics, mission computers, sensors, and radar, with a focus on DoD programs.

The ideal candidate has extensive DoD systems engineering experience, MBSE proficiency, and strong leadership skills to guide multi-discipline teams through requirements, integration, and verification

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
15+ years of related engineering experience in systems, software, or hardware engineering.
Experience leading multi-discipline teams and providing technical direction.
Ability to own engineering scope and drive cross-functional tasks to meet requirements.
Experience with development, integration and test of military avionics or complex systems.

Responsibilities

Support the Chief Engineer and Program Manager across lifecycle activities.
Provide technical and programmatic guidance to multi-discipline teams.
Drive issue resolution and customer interface throughout development life cycle.
Lead design reviews and ensure cross-function collaboration and requirements alignment.
