Job summary

MKS Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the development of next‑generation technologies for new market applications.

You will provide technical leadership across analog and digital design, electronic control systems, and data processing, guiding cross‑functional teams to successful implementations. Responsibilities include technical planning, market requirements scoping with Product Marketing, system integration and DVT planning, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or systems engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• Experience with analog and digital design circuitry and testing.
• Experience creating system integration and DVT plans.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• FMEA experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning: scope, estimates, milestones, status reports.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and applications teams to define market needs.
• Create system-level engineering specifications and project scope documents.
• Develop and execute system integration, verification, and DVT plans.
• Drive issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Compliance.
• Manage schedules, resources, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure on-time execution meeting performance, quality, regulatory, and cost goals.
• Present technical updates and executive-level reviews.
