MKS Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead development across ozone, remote plasma sources, electronic control systems, and electro-mechanical subsystems in Wilmington, MA (with travel).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or systems engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to understand and manage tradeoffs between cost, performance, and schedules.
• Track record of successful new product releases across the product lifecycle.
• Experience with analog and digital design circuitry and system integration.
• Experience creating/ executing system integration and DVT plans.
• Strong technical communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
• Experience with Failure Analysis (FMEA).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning activities including scope, effort estimation, milestones, and status reporting.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and applications team to scope market requirements and customer needs.
• Create system level engineering design specifications and project scope documents.
• Develop and execute system integration, verification, and DVT plans.
• Drive technical issue resolution and root-cause investigations with corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, resources, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure on-time project execution meeting performance, quality, regulatory, and cost objectives.
• Prepare and present technical updates and executive-level risk assessments.
