You will guide a team, balance cost and performance, and ensure robust product development from concept through validation. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, prototype development, and continuous improvements in quality and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering analysis.
• Ability to balance cost, performance, and schedule.
• Experience with complex mechanical systems from requirements to realization.
• Strong technical communication skills.
• SolidWorks and PLM experience.
• Knowledge of advanced machining techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design, modeling, test, and packaging of complex electro-mechanical components and subsystems.
• Develop cost-effective, manufacturable designs.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance analyses.
• Develop prototypes and oversee testing to verify performance and reliability.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product teams.
• Analyze thermal and structural performance using FEA simulations.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and project management.
• Ensure designs meet all requirements and enable continuous quality improvements.
