Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership and systems engineering support to PMA-207, with a focus on airborne weather radar systems, avionics integration, modernization, and sustainment. The role requires in-person support and will work with Government, industry, OEM and contractor organizations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
10 years of progressive systems engineering experience.
Experience with airborne weather radar systems development, integration, or sustainment.
Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
Experience coordinating across Government, OEM, prime contractors and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Serve as a Senior Systems Engineer and technical advisor supporting PMA-207 weather radar modernization, integration, and sustainment efforts.
Lead systems engineering activities: requirements development, decomposition, traceability, verification and validation.
Analyze system interfaces between weather radar systems and aircraft avionics, displays, navigation, and mission systems.
Develop and review system specifications, IRDs, test plans, and engineering artifacts.
Mentor junior engineers and provide systems engineering leadership across the PMA-207 team.
