Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership to PMA-207, with a primary focus on airborne weather radar systems, avionics integration, modernization, and sustainment.

The successful candidate will develop system requirements, manage interfaces, and guide cross‑functional teams across government, industry, OEM, and contractor partners, traveling as required. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
12+ years of progressive systems engineering experience in aerospace.
Experience with airborne weather radar systems and avionics interfaces.
Ability to lead complex technical efforts with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

Lead systems engineering activities for weather radar modernization and sustainment.
Develop and manage system requirements and traceability.
Analyze system interfaces between radar and aircraft avionics.
Review IRDs, specs, test plans, and engineering artifacts.
Provide technical leadership in reviews and contractor engagements.
Support acquisition planning and AoA analyses.
Mentor junior engineers and lead the PMA-207 engineering team.
