Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer for Avionics, Radar systems, and MSBE. You will design, implement, and advance next‑generation aircraft weather radar and integrated avionics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities include flight test planning, data analysis, and requirements authoring in DOORS, using MATLAB-based tools, and ensuring seamless system integration and verification across the avionics stack.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering or maths).
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, ideally in Avionics, Radar, Aerospace or related disciplines.
  • Proficiency in system-level analysis and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of weather radar systems into flight test aircraft.
  • Design and oversee flight test plans to validate radar performance.
  • Analyze flight data to identify performance issues and ensure system requirements are met prior to certification.
  • Model-Based Systems Design and Development (MSBE).
  • Work with software, hardware and test engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions.
  • Author high-level systems requirements in DOORS.
  • Conduct system-level analysis and optimization.
  • Utilize MATLAB-based simulation tools.
  • Systems integration, validation and verification.
