Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership and systems engineering support to PMA-207, focusing on airborne weather radar systems, avionics integration, modernization, and sustainment.

The successful candidate will lead requirements, perform system-level analysis, and guide integration across government, industry, OEM, and contractor teams, while traveling as needed and maintaining a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
12+ years of progressive systems engineering experience, including senior leadership.
Experience with airborne weather radar systems and lifecycle sustainment.

Responsibilities

Lead systems engineering activities including requirements development, decomposition, traceability, verification and validation.
Analyze system interfaces between weather radar and aircraft avionics, displays, navigation, and mission systems.
Develop and review IRDs, tech data packages, test plans, and verification procedures.
Provide technical leadership during reviews and contractor engagements.
Support evaluation and disposition of ECPs, RFI, and engineering change documentation.
