Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Air Force lifecycle and AWACS modernization efforts at Tinker AFB, OK. The role requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, and extensive DoD experience across system requirements, architecture, and cybersecurity policy adherence.

You will prepare technical docs, conduct analyses, and work with distributed teams on risk, verification, and validation activities in a fast-changing engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 12+ years in the discipline, five in DoD.
• Or 15+ years of directly related experience, eight in DoD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct program portfolio reviews to evaluate plans and tests to ensure performance.
• Review plans, designs, and test results for subsystem and system performance.
• Prepare documentation and presentations for planning and corrective actions.
• Perform system validations, including criteria and procedure development.
