Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer-Shift Lead to provide technical leadership, daily operational coordination, and mission execution oversight in support of critical national security systems. This onsite role supports a 24/7 mission environment at Buckley (Aurora, CO) and requires decisive leadership and engineering expertise.

The position requires active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience in maintenance, operations, or field service in complex technical environments.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shift operations, coordinate personnel assignments, and ensure tasks are executed safely and efficiently.
• Demoonstrate proficiency in preventive maintenance activities, ensuring planning, coordination, execution, and documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify reliability concerns, and coordinate corrective actions to sustain system availability.
• Support rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
