Job summary

Raytheon seeks an Operator to join a high-performing Operations and Sustainment team, embedded on-site for a mission-critical system in a US government context.

The role covers Tier 1/2 troubleshooting, system monitoring, upgrades, and strong collaboration with engineers, customers, and vendors. It is a second shift position with weekend work and shift differentials; citizenship and clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a related field with 2+ years’ experience if advanced degree.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with Linux commands.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting to resolve technical system anomalies.
• Maintain environment by identifying anomalies and restoring operations.
• Assist with upgrades, monitor system performance and coordinate with teams.
• Follow policies, troubleshoot hardware/software and escalate issues.
