Job summary
Raytheon is seeking a Sr Principal Systems Engineer - Mission Management for the Aurora, CO campus. You will lead MBSE-driven analyses, decompose complex requirements, define interfaces, and coordinate with software engineers in an Agile, DevSecOps environment to deliver mission management capabilities.
On-site role with active DoD TS clearance required and strong customer-facing leadership. Applicants bring extensive systems engineering experience, lifecycle knowledge, and an ability to operate
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with SE lifecycle, ConOps, requirements, analysis, interfaces, verification and validation.
- Experience on government contracts with systems engineering or integration and test.
- Experience developing modern architectures with DevSecOps and secure cloud integrations across domains.
- Active and transferable DoD TS clearance required prior to start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide MBSE analyses and define system operation.
- Decompose requirements and define interfaces, verify/validate with test team.
- Deliver capability and feature designs to software engineers in Agile environments.
- Support a portion of the program’s test program and test architecture.
- Support regression testing across program releases.
- Attend technical reviews and technical interchange meetings.
