Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a System Director of Dining Services to lead the operation of multiple Food & Nutrition Services in acute care hospitals within a given geography. The role emphasizes client satisfaction, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance across sites.

The candidate will oversee patient care, retail and catering operations, ensuring high-quality dining experiences while driving continuous improvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus seven years of directly related experience preferred
• Minimum of seven plus years of hospital or adult home/care experience preferred
• Previous multi-unit hospital foodservice management experience desirable
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable
• Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Dietitian preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures client, customer service/satisfaction with efficient cost effective management meeting and exceeding stated expectations at all sites
• Manages all foodservice-related activities including patient care, retail, cafeteria, and catering across sites
• Oversees systems and processes to meet strategic and operational objectives for the client
• Visits patients on assigned units to ensure engagement by management or professional staff
• Leads team of Directors within the system
• Other duties as assigned
