Job summary

B&A is seeking a Senior Systems Developer to support the Defense Health Agency’s CBIS program in the National Capital Region. You will help sustain and modernize the EIM platform (OpenText-based) hosted in AWS GovCloud, delivering workflows and enhancements in an agile environment every three weeks.

The role requires DoD domain experience, robust Health IT knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with government teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of ten years of technical Health IT experience.
Experience with DoD agile development process (DoDI 5000.02).
Experience using AI technologies to reduce development time, improve deployments, and reduce defects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and debug new EIM application workflows and enhancements.
Collaborate with Government and support teams to resolve issues.
Develop workflows using OpenText AppWorks, Content Server, and government-owned code.
Deliver user stories through agile sprints: planning, development, demos, and retrospectives.
Handle trouble tickets in ServiceNow and after-hours deployments as needed.
Ensure interfaces (HL7, IHE XDR/XCA, FHIR, web services) and migration to MuleSoft.
Support upgrades, patches, and security remediation.
Leverage AI tools to reduce development time and defects.
