Job summary

B&A is seeking a System Architect to support the Defense Health Agency’s CBIS program in the National Capital Region. You will lead the OpenText-based EIM platform architecture and its integrations with DoD and VA partner systems, including migration to MuleSoft and DMACS integration.

The role focuses on high availability, security design, and modernization efforts, reporting to the DHA CBIS PMO. Public Trust position in Falls Church, VA area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS.
• Minimum of eight years of experience with automated enterprise content management systems.
• CISSP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in ECM/BPM products (AppWorks and Content Server) and interfaces for updates.
• Integrate APIs and COTS solutions with partner systems across the enterprise.
• Architect and design interfaces and integrations (DEERS, VA, DoD data exchanges).
• Develop and maintain architecture artifacts per DoDAF 2.0 and MHS EA viewpoints.
• Lead modernization efforts including license integration and AWS GovCloud refactoring.
• Support RMF controls and Authority to Operate activities.
• Support high availability, failover, and continuity strategies for the platform.
• Provide technical leadership and supervision to engineering staff.
