Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Systems Architect to drive the Pivot to Value (P2V) initiative within the Gas Power portfolio. You will own modules and systems, translate stakeholder needs into configurable designs, and collaborate across teams to optimize cost, performance, and reliability.

The role emphasizes strategic decision-making, planning productivity initiatives, and staying ahead of power systems engineering trends. Onsite reporting is required several times per quarter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering, operations, or product management in power generation or industrial applications.
• Experience applying systems thinking to complex, multi-disciplinary engineering challenges.
• Ability to communicate complex systems-level concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to commute onsite multiple times per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined set of modules and systems lifecycle from definition through end-of-life.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into module/system requirements that are clear and value-driven.
• Specify, manage, and document interface definitions between modules and systems to minimize lifecycle cost.
• Analyze data to generate systems-level insights and drive improvements.
• Lead strategic make/buy, do/buy, and reuse decisions at system/module level.
• Plan productivity initiatives end-to-end, including cost estimation and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with ARC and partners to contribute systems thinking expertise.
