Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Systems Architect in Atlanta to drive Pivot to Value initiatives, translating stakeholder needs into modular, value-driven designs while aligning with safety, quality, and cost goals.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on product management, guiding system optimization across gas power projects and collaborating with multiple functions to inform decisions and improve plant performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
8+ years in engineering, operations, or product management in power generation or industrial apps.
Experience developing or applying analytical models or simulation tools.
Ability to communicate complex systems concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Must be able to commute onsite multiple times per quarter.

Responsibilities

Own modules and systems lifecycle from definition through end-of-life.
Translate stakeholder requirements into clear, configurable system requirements.
Specify interfaces and controls to minimize lifecycle cost.
Analyze data to generate systems-level insights and drive value.
Lead make/buy, do/buy decisions and re-use strategies.
Plan productivity initiatives end-to-end with cost and risk analysis.
Collaborate with ARC and partners on systems thinking projects.
