Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) seeks a Senior Systems Architect to join our Arlington, VA team. You will turn customer goals into actionable system designs, bridging customers with IDT engineers to define features and drive rapid deployment of capabilities.

The role emphasizes systems engineering, software integration, and data analysis within a DoD context. On-site work, with 4 days in the office, and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years building, testing and fielding complex products.
• Strong ability to translate requirements into viable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop test/data algorithms to quantify system actions and outcomes.
• Define system performance requirements and ensure interface compatibility.
• Apply advanced tech to develop in-service and next-gen systems.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams to design, deploy and test systems.
• Create test plans, procedures and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Analyze requirements and optimize total system architecture.
• Determine feasibility and implement SysML models.
• Communicate with customers to resolve technical challenges.
