Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) in Arlington, VA is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate software that meets customer requirements. You will work on high-quality code across multiple stacks, staying compliant with coding standards and design principles.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3–5+ years of software experience, and an active Secret U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software/Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required.
• On-site Arlington, VA location; 4+ days in office.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and validate scope for deliverables.
• Design, implement, test, and integrate software solutions.
• Contribute to secure coding practices and quality assurance.
• Support tests in client labs and IDT facilities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage risks.
