The role requires deep interconnect expertise, strong communication, and the ability to mentor engineers. Travel of 30–50% is expected to support global customers and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Master’s/PhD desirable.
• Role draws on electronic or mechanical engineering background (signal transmission, EMI/EMC, CAD tools).
• Minimum of 10 years' experience giving technical guidance on interconnect solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and technical strategy for CBS customer solutions.
• Define system-level requirements for high-speed signal integrity, mechanical alignment, thermal efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop specifications, schematics, and proofs-of-concept for cable backplanes.
• Act as primary contact between cable cartridge manufacturer and OEM.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead CBS front-end engineering team.
• Collaborate with multiple BU's to integrate CBS products into customer systems.
• Maintain technical documentation and present to executives.
