Job summary

Samsung Electronics America (SEA) seeks an ambitious System Structure Design Engineer to join our Networks Engineering team in the United States. You will develop system and feature requirements, analyze performance, and communicate complex technical concepts across sales and carrier networks.

Travel may be infrequent, and governance includes mentoring the team as a systems architect. Role requires strong 4G/5G expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive virtualized

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in EE/CS; Advanced degree beneficial.
• Minimum 12+ years of wireless industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of 5G concepts such as Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, New Waveforms, LTE-NR interworking & co-existence.
• Experience with 3GPP Rel-16/17 features and RF/network architecture.
• Understanding of HW and SW architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop product requirements, feature requirements, and system performance analysis.
• Lead deep-dive customer sessions and introduce new technologies for virtualized networks.
• Represent multi-functional teams to enable successful roll-outs and developments.
• Provide expert technical support in the pre-sales process and optimize solutions.
• Travel sporadically as project needs require.
